Healthypi 5 Main Board

Healthypi 5 main board with its dual core, RP2040 and ESP32 utilizes three analog sensors MAX30001, MAX30205 and AFE4490 to stream Electrocardiogram and Bioimpedance impedance channel, Temperature and Photoplethysmograph respectively. It includes a 40-pin Raspberry Pi HAT connector and a built-in power-path management with automatic switching between a 3.7V Lithium polymer battery and USB power. Onboard MicroSD card slot on the bottom side of the board can be used to log the vitals. The use of the "Bootsel" button and the reset button for the ESP32 and RP2040 microcontrollers indicates that the Healthypi 5 has a built-in programming mechanism to facilitate easy firmware updates or modifications.

2. Healthypi 5 Display

The Healthypi 5's display system is a 3.5-inch TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) display thoughtfully designed to provide both visual information and user-friendly navigation. The display in Healthypi 5 is driven by the ST7797 driver and includes a side-actuated three-way navigation switch. With these features the Healthypi 5 aims to provide an accessible and user-friendly experience for navigating menus and visualizing health data. This design approach also takes into consideration potential usability and durability concerns that might arise in real-world usage.

3. Healthypi 5 Enclosure

Healthypi 5 enclosure manufactured by injection molding is made of polycarbonate material. The Healthypi main board, Healthypi carrier board along with the Healthypi display is enclosed in the enclosure to ensure protection against Electrostatic Discharges (ESD).
